Giacovelli switches to Grape Touch: sustainability at the label’s fingertips

Environmentally friendly packaging and labeling in the fruit world is a necessity today, forcing companies to change in order to adapt to new demands.

Giacovelli S.r.l., following this orientation, is the first company in Apulia to use Grape Touch, Carby Label’s green label, made from recycled material: the front is composed of 15% grape waste after pressing and 40% post-consumer material. The recycled Grape Touch material is green because it uses less virgin wood fiber than traditional labels, saving water, electricity, greenhouse gasses and waste.
